An evening with Disney Junior and Nancy Kanter

I was so happy when I received the invitation to participate in the event with Disney Junior in the middle of May. After confirming with hubby that he would be in town and could help me to babysit the children, I immediately RSVP myself for the event.

Finally the night arrived and hubby drove us all to Bangsar Shopping Village II. The event was held in Marmalade Restaurant. When I arrived at the restaurant, I was attracted by the decorations. It was so nicely decorated with all the disney cartoon character like Mickey and OSO.



I was even given the OSO digi medal with my name on it. Since the whole family "escort" me there, Darren was given one OSO digi medal too by the kind jie jie at the registration counter. Darren was super happy. I was busy chatting away till I forgotten to take the photos.

After the introduction by the emcee, Ms Nancy Kanter, the senior vice president, Original Programming and General Manager, DIsney Junior Worldwide then present us the Disney Junior Showcase.



Disney Junior is a brand new channel which replaces the Playhouse Disney on July 11. It aims at children aged 2-7 years old. Magical, musical and heartfelt stories with lovable characters, both classic and new, all merge to form a haven of imagination, learning and creativity. All this magic and storytelling intertwined with early childhood learning values attributes that only Disney can provide.

The Disney Junior will also features new series like Jake and the Never Land Pirates, The Cat in the Hat knows a Lot About That and Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue. There will be more animated series will be premiered in the near future like Disney Poetry Shorts, Minnie Bow-Toons and more magical entertainment in 2012.



After that, we were served with delicious and beautifully decorated buffet dinner.
The food was just so yummy.


I met some mommy bloggers and we have a good time chatting and exchanging news and parenting issues.

Before we left, I get Darren to take some photos with his favourite cartoon characters. We even received very nice goodies as souveniers - A Minnie Mouse softtoy, a pen drive, a notebook and a poster.
