Last Saturday, daddy brought back some work. He needs people to help him fold the cards, stick the cards and paste the stamps.
Early morning daddy started the work and I thought, well, maybe I can helped. Daddy asked me to stick the sticker on the card..but after sticking a few, I am losing my patience and also I did not stick at the right angle. So, daddy stopped me from helping. Later, daddy discovered something that I could help up...then mommy asked me,
"Darren, do you want to make some money? Then you can buy the things that you want."
Make money? Buy something I like? This interest me. I want to have a lot of money, then I can buy things. So immediately I took up the offer.
The job is to tear the whole sheet of stamps into individual pieces. There are like more than 10 sheets of stamps that I need to do....daddy taught me how to do it and I did it slowly earlier...then slowly..I mastered the skill and I did it pretty fast. It took me a few hours to complete..but later daddy also helped me a bit.
When mommy said I have to share the money if people help me up, I insisted to do it ALL by myself coz I don't want to share the money.
See what I am doing

and the amount of stamps I tear...

and finally this is the amount of money I have earned for the day...

RM5 - My first hard earned money...I want to keep the money and save it since I have nothing to buy at the moment. I am so proud of myself...
p/s: It was kind of a family bonding project. Everyone sitting down around the dining table helping up the work and we have a good time chit chatting while working.
